The brewers at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore, MD have announced the launch of Guinness Over The Moon Milk Stout, the latest in a line of new beers to come out of the new home for experimental beers from Guinness.

Guinness Over The Moon Milk Stout’s striking sky-blue packaging artwork, derived from Guinness ads dating back to the 1930’s and 1950’s, depicts the infamous pint sitting amongst the moon and stars.

This is a dark beer with a white foamy head and roasted notes mixed with a hint of chocolate and coffee. It's slightly sweeter than Guinness Draught with roasted chocolate notes, a smooth, creamy mouthfeel and low lingering bitterness and the ABV is a little higher than regular Guinness at 5.3%.

In addition to being available on-site at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore, MD and in the Greater Baltimore area, the new beer is on shelves now in the surrounding states. Beginning in November, the beer will also be available nationally for a limited time so make sure to keep an eye out for it!
