Having tried all four of the core beers that Coppertail has on the shelves, it was time to focus on their non-cores. We met up with a buddy in their tasting room and over the course of the evening, I tried several across a fairly wide spectrum - Coffee IPA, Sour, Berliner Weisse, Saison. I'll be back.

Ran into the folks from Coolside Gelato Bar in Palm Harbor at Rapp Brewing. Coolside is now doing "Beerlatos" which are essentailly beer floats made with gelato. We tried a couple of their flavors and really enjoyed their Sea Salt Caramal with Rapp's Gose and also the banana gelato paired with Rapp's Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout.

We had a great time at the PGA National Beer Fest. Even though I was chained to the judges table for the homebrew contest, I still was able to get out and try a few beers form breweries that I haven't had before. Twisted Trunk and Barrel of Monks were pouring some impressive beers. Congrats to the winners of the homebrew contest. Mark Cocco's breakfast stout hit on every note.

Swung by 3 Palms in Tampa for the first time. Their Chocolate Chip Cookie Milk Stout tasted as good as it sounds. Had to grab a crowler of it to take home.

Really enjoyed the beers from 3 Horns Brewing at the Miami Beach Beerfest this past Saturday. They were pouring Nilla Razz which was amazing. The Chocolate Brown that replaced it was great too!

Too often I go somewhere with every intension of putting together a post and one thing leads to another and before you know it, I'm at the next place with the same intensions.  That's where this page is going to come in handy.  Sometimes it's going to be just a quick blurb, other times a paragraph of two. Don't expect anything fancy, structured or regular.
