Recently we were hanging out with our good friend Lori who's been part of our family for way over 20 years and she mentioned that she'd like to do a review for the site. Since the folks at the Legacy Place Food and Wine Festival were kind enough to invite us by, I figured that since she lived up that way, it'd be a good chance for her to cover an event. Lori, Welcome to the team!

Here's what our new Palm Beach County correspondent had to say....

As one who does not often make it to Palm Beach Gardens, the Legacy Place Food and Wine Festival was a great way to “get a feel” for the place and for a great cause! This was the 6th year of the annual event benefiting the Palm Beach Gardens Police Foundation, the not-for-profit organization supporting the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department.

The fabulous food from some amazing venues ranged from your standard meatballs with tortellini to a scrumptious braised short rib mac ‘n cheese.  With the majority of the libations being from a vineyard, this beer-drinker was pleased to see a couple of choices from a brewery, the Florida Beer Company.   District Sales Manager, Corey Brysman was happy to have a couple of self-proclaimed “beer snobs” try the Key West Southernmost Wheat and Irish Kelly’s Traditional Hard Cider.  Great suds and no need to lift your pinky while drinking!  Florida Beer Company brews out of Cape Canaveral – a definite stop on our next road trip!

Thanks for the hospitality, Legacy Place!
